Aftermarket replacement part — not a genuine OEM part. The squeegee blades and rubber parts on this page are aftermarket replacements made to fit Hako machines. They are not genuine Hako parts, we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Hako, and brand names, model names and part numbers are used for fitment reference only. Confirm dimensions against your own sample or drawing before ordering.
Call your supplier for “Hako B45 squeegee blades” and you have roughly a one-in-three chance of getting the right part.
Not because the supplier is bad. Because the model name doesn’t define the part. Hako built the B45 platform with three different squeegee widths — 76 cm, 86 cm and 95 cm — and each width takes a different blade length. The B115R ride-on has the same trap: its rear blade is shared with two other machine families, and the length changed across production versions.
For a repair company, this is not a trivia question. It is the difference between one van visit and two.
The numbers, machine by machine
These dimensions are confirmed from Hako’s own technical documentation and from European aftermarket parts listings:
| Machine & configuration | Squeegee width | Front blade | Rear blade |
|---|---|---|---|
| B45 with 43 cm brush (76 cm squeegee) | 76 cm | 780 × 45 × 4 mm (OEM 117271) | — |
| B45 with 43/51 cm brush (86 cm squeegee) | 86 cm | 890 × 45 × 4 mm | 815 × 45 × 4 mm |
| B115R (with B70 platform) | 95 cm | — | 1,040 × 45 × 4 mm |
| B115R (with B90 / B120 platform) | 95 cm | — | 1,230 × 45 × 4 mm |
Hako’s official manual for the Scrubmaster B45 family lists the squeegee widths as 76, 86 and 95 cm depending on brush configuration — the same platform, three different suction widths (Hako B45 instruction manual). The B115R compact ride-on runs a 95 cm effective squeegee width (Hako Scrubmaster B115R).

Now look at the last column of the diagram
Every blade above — 780 mm to 1,230 mm — shares the same cross-section: 45 mm wide, 4 mm thick.
This is the detail most parts catalogs don’t emphasize, and it changes how you stock. The length is a variable. The section is a constant. We’ll come back to what that means for your inventory in a moment.
Why repair shops get this wrong
Three ways it happens, in order of frequency:
- Ordering by model name. “B45 blade” is ambiguous by definition. The 76 cm and 86 cm machines were sold side by side for years.
- Assuming front and rear match. On the 86 cm B45, the front is 890 mm and the rear is 815 mm. They are not interchangeable, and mixing them up is the most common return we see.
- Assuming all B115Rs are identical. The rear blade is 1,040 mm on some versions and 1,230 mm on others, depending on which platform family your machine follows. Same badge, different part.
The cost of getting it wrong is never the blade. It’s the second visit: travel, labour, a customer who now questions your quoting accuracy.
The 3-step check before you order
Step 1 — Measure the squeegee assembly width, not the machine. 30 seconds with a tape measure settles the 76/86/95 question.
Step 2 — Pull one old blade and measure three numbers: overall length, width, thickness. Worn edges distort the reading slightly, so measure the body, not the lip.
Step 3 — Photograph the mounting. Hole spacing and slot shape vary more between brands than sizes do. A photo settles it.
Send those three things to any competent supplier — including us — and fitment ambiguity disappears. Our full squeegee blade cross-reference guide covers 75 models across 17 brands the same way.
What this means for what you stock
Here is the underlying logic. If length varies and section doesn’t, then stocking finished blades by model means stocking every variable. Stocking material by section means stocking the constant — and cutting the variable on your bench.
That is the argument for keeping red rubber sheet in the drawer instead of a wall of part numbers, and we break down the inventory math in the next article.
If you’d rather buy finished blades, that works too. Minimum order is 20 sets per style, and you can mix models — a B45 front, a B45 rear and a B115R rear in the same carton. For material choice on abrasive or oily floors, see our blade material comparison.
Get a fitment check before you order
Send us the squeegee width, the three blade measurements, or just a photo of the assembly. We confirm the match before you commit to an order — and if your machine isn’t on any list, we build to sample.

Frequently asked
Q: What size blade does a Hako B45 take?
A: It depends on the squeegee width: 780 mm front for the 76 cm version, 890 mm front and 815 mm rear for the 86 cm version. All are 45 mm wide and 4 mm thick.
Q: Are Hako B45 and B45 CL blades the same?
A: Not always — the CL versions added a 65 cm brush deck with a 95 cm squeegee. Measure the assembly, not the badge.
Q: Do you supply OEM part numbers?
A: We supply dimensionally matched aftermarket blades. Where a public OEM reference exists (like 117271 for the 780 mm front), we cross against it.
