Squeegee Blade Cross Reference: 75 Models, 17 Brands

Table of Contents

You know the drill. A customer calls: their Tennant T16 is leaving water trails across a supermarket floor, your OEM supplier quotes a four-week lead time and a three-figure price for one squeegee kit, and the machine sits idle until the part arrives.

This is exactly why the aftermarket squeegee blade market exists — and why we built this cross-reference guide. Below you’ll find 75 floor scrubber models across 17 brands we supply squeegee blades for, organized brand by brand so you can match a machine in under a minute.

Quick definitions before you dive in:

  • 1 set = 1 front blade + 1 rear blade (the complete squeegee assembly for one machine), unless noted otherwise
  • Side blades are sold as separate sets where listed (they wear on a different cycle than front/rear blades)
  • Every blade is available in natural wear-resistant rubber (NR) as standard, with polyurethane (PU) available for oily or chemically aggressive floors

Why Distributors Buy Aftermarket Instead of OEM

1. OEM pricing carries a dealer markup. A factory-original squeegee kit commonly retails between $30 and $250 depending on brand and machine size. Aftermarket equivalents typically land at 30–50% of the OEM price, because you’re buying at the source rather than through several layers of distribution.

2. Lead time is the real killer. For many older machines — the Tennant 5400, the Nilfisk BR 752, the Hako B70 — OEM blades are special-order items. Your customer’s machine can sit for weeks. A supplier who stocks or quickly produces the fit keeps your customer’s contract running.

3. Discontinued machines don’t stop needing blades. A Comac Abila 20 or a Taski 1260 may be out of production, but it’s still scrubbing a floor somewhere — and whoever supplies its consumables owns that customer.

The catch, of course, is fitment. A blade that’s 5 mm too long, or drilled for a different hole pattern, leaks water and generates a complaint call. That’s the problem this guide solves.

How to Use This Guide

  1. Find your brand in the tables below.
  2. Locate your machine model and note the set contents.
  3. Send us the model name — or better, the OEM part number from the machine’s parts manual — and we’ll confirm exact fitment, dimensions, and material options.

You don’t need to measure anything to get a quote. If your model isn’t listed, jump to the custom development section — new tooling starts at USD 60–120 per style, and the tooling fee is waived entirely at 500 sets.

Front, Rear and Side Blades: What You’re Actually Buying

The rear blade is the one that matters most. It’s the final point of contact with the floor and does the majority of water recovery. If a machine leaves streaks, the rear blade is the first thing to inspect. This is also why rear blades wear faster — and why our sets pair one front with one rear.

Side blades are a separate wear part on larger machines. Tennant’s T7/T12/T16/T20 and the Nilfisk BR 855 use side skirts and side blades to contain water at the scrub deck. These are listed as separate sets (2 pcs or 4 pcs) because they wear on a different cycle than the front/rear assembly.

Material choice changes lifespan more than brand choice. Standard natural rubber (NR) suits tile, vinyl, and epoxy in normal duty. For rough concrete, or floors with oil and diesel exposure (workshops, logistics, parking structures), specify PU.

How long will a blade actually last? In regular commercial service, squeegee blades commonly run two to three months before they need replacing — or rotating to a fresh edge, which most assemblies allow and which roughly doubles the usable life of a blade.

Treat that as a typical industry figure rather than a guarantee. Service life moves with cleaning frequency, floor condition, operating temperature, and the chemicals in use. Oil-resistant compounds in particular are more sensitive to their environment than standard natural rubber — which is exactly why we ask about your application before quoting a material, rather than pushing the most expensive option.

Tell us the floor type, duty cycle, and what you’re cleaning off it when you request a quote, and we’ll recommend the right compound.

Not Listed? We Build to Your Model or Sample

This is where our program differs from most aftermarket sources.

For the 75 models above, minimum order is 20 sets per style — one set being a front + rear blade pair. That’s 40 blades: enough to test the market in your region without tying up capital, and low enough that you can cover five machine platforms with a modest opening order.

Consolidation is allowed. You can mix styles and brands to reach a USD 3,000 minimum order value — so you don’t have to commit 20 sets of a single part to get started.

For machines not on the list, we develop the fit from your sample, your OEM part number, or your drawing:

  • Tooling: USD 60–120 per style
  • Tooling fee is waived entirely once your order reaches 500 sets — which amortizes the mold cost to roughly USD 0.12–0.24 per set
  • Slot types: straight slot, angled slot, round hole, oval hole, or fully custom to drawing

Samples. Pre-production samples are available before you commit to volume. Samples are chargeable, and typically ship within 7–15 days of confirmation.

Send us the machine model or a photo of the original blade, and we’ll come back with fitment confirmation and a quote.

5 Fitment Mistakes That Cause Leaks (and Returns)

1. Replacing only the rear blade. The front and rear wear as a system. A fresh rear blade against a worn front blade still leaks, and the customer blames the new part. Always replace — and stock — them as pairs, which is exactly why our MOQ is set-based.

2. Ignoring the side blades on T-series and BR 855 machines. Water escaping sideways past the scrub deck looks identical to a failed rear blade to an untrained operator. If the rear blade is new and the machine still tracks water, check the side blades.

3. Ordering by machine model alone without confirming the squeegee assembly version. Some platforms changed squeegee designs mid-production. A model number plus a photo of your current blade eliminates this entirely.

4. Treating “roughly the same length” as close enough. A blade 5 mm over-length can bow in the assembly and lift at the ends. Water recovery is a sealing problem, and sealing tolerances are tight.

5. Specifying the hardest blade available because it “lasts longer.” Over-hard blades don’t conform to floor texture and lose the seal; under-hard blades get sucked into the vacuum and deform. Rough concrete and oily floors want PU at higher Shore hardness; smooth floors want softer NR. Match the material to the floor, not to the price list.

If There’s a Quality Problem, We Replace It

Squeegee blades are consumables — they wear out, that’s what they’re for. But “consumable” shouldn’t mean you absorb the risk of a bad batch. So here’s our position, stated plainly:

If any blades in your shipment have a manufacturing defect, we replace those pieces — free of charge. Report it within seven days of the date you signed for the delivery, and send us an unboxing video showing the problem.

How a claim works

1. Film the unboxing. Start recording before the carton is opened and keep going until the defect is clearly visible. A short phone clip is enough. We ask for this because video is the only way to separate a manufacturing fault from freight damage or handling after delivery — it protects both sides, and it means we can usually approve a claim without asking you to ship anything back.

2. Report within 7 days of signed delivery. Not the ship date and not the port arrival date — the date you signed for the goods. That’s the first moment you could inspect the shipment, so that’s where the clock starts.

3. We replace the affected pieces, not the whole shipment. If 12 blades in a 200-piece carton are faulty, we ship 12. You keep the rest and you’re not asked to return the defective pieces unless we specifically need them for analysis.

Replacement blades are free; freight is carried by the buyer. In practice, most customers consolidate replacements into their next order so the shipping cost disappears into a shipment they’re paying for anyway. Tell us what works for you and we’ll arrange it.

What’s covered — and what isn’t

Covered: manufacturing defects — torn or ragged edges, incorrect dimensions, material faults, or hardness outside the agreed range.

Not covered: wear from service, damage from incorrect installation, or blades that wore faster than expected because the material wasn’t matched to the floor. That last one is a selection question, not a quality one, which is why we ask about your application before quoting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What exactly does “1 set” include?
A: One front blade + one rear blade for one machine, unless the row specifies side blades. Side blade sets are separate (2 or 4 pieces depending on machine).

Q: What’s the minimum order?
A: 20 sets per style for the models in this guide — 40 blades total (20 front + 20 rear). You can also mix styles and brands to reach a USD 3,000 minimum order value, which is the practical route for a first order covering several machine platforms.

Q: My machine isn’t in the table. Can you still supply it?
A: Almost certainly yes. Send the machine model, the OEM part number, or a photo of the original blade. New tooling is USD 60–120 per style, waived at 500 sets.

Q: How do I confirm fitment before ordering?
A: Send us your model name and, ideally, a photo of the existing blade with its length, width, thickness, and hole pattern visible. We confirm compatibility and quote from there.

Q: Do you offer private label / unbranded packaging?
A: Yes — contact us with your branding requirements and volumes.

Q: How long do the blades last, and how do NR and PU compare?
A: In regular commercial service, expect roughly two to three months before a blade needs replacing or rotating to a fresh edge — rotating is standard on most assemblies and effectively doubles usable life. That’s a typical industry figure, not a guarantee: cleaning frequency, floor condition, temperature, and the chemicals in use all shift it, and oil-resistant compounds are more sensitive to their environment than standard natural rubber. On abrasive or oily concrete, PU generally holds up considerably better than economy rubber; on smooth tile or vinyl the difference narrows. Tell us your floor type and duty cycle and we’ll recommend the compound rather than defaulting you to the most expensive option.

Q: Can I get samples before ordering volume?
A: Yes. Pre-production samples are chargeable and typically ship within 7–15 days of confirmation.
